After you have downloaded the Symantec AntiVirus 10.1.7 executable above, run the Symantec AntiVirus install by double-clicking on the sav10.1.7.exe stored on your desktop. The following will appear. Make sure the previous version of Symantec AntiVirus is uninstalled and then Click OK. . |

| The following will appear. Click Setup to begin the setup. |  |
| The following will appear. Click Next on the Welcome screen to begin installing the software. |   |
| Click on the button for I accept the terms in the license agreement, then click Next. |  |
| Use the Client Install option, which will be automatically selected for you. Click Next. |  |
| Choose the Complete installation. Click Next. |  |
| Choose the Unmanaged option. Click Next. |  |
| Keep Auto-Protect and Run LiveUpdate selected. Click Next. |  |
| Installation will begin once you click on Install. |   |
| LiveUpdate will run at the end of installation, opening a window on top of the installation window. Click Next. Allow this to complete and click Finish. |

A separate warning window indicating that your 'definitions are out of date' may also open at the same time as the LiveUpdate. You may close this small window as you are currently updating the definitions. On the Symantec AntiVirus - InstallShield Wizard window click Finish. |
